Cincinnati reviews

What Cincinnati Clients Are Saying

We list reviews with the client's first name, last initial, and city, with their permission.

  • Turning 65

I was turning 65 and had no clue which form came first. We went through my dates on one call, and I had a Part B start date and a plan picked out before my birthday month.

  • Doctor networks

My cardiologist near Kenwood was the whole issue. The network got checked before I signed anything, and I was told straight which plans would keep my doctor.
    Ronald P. · Cincinnati, OH
Google review (placeholder) · January 2026
  • Prescription costs

They ran my six medications through the drug lists instead of just quoting me a premium. My yearly cost went down and I kept the same pharmacy on Hyde Park Square.
Gwen S. · Blue Ash, OH
Google review (placeholder) · November 2025

Three Free Tools, Real Answers

These are the questions that actually decide which plan fits, not which brochure looks nicest.

Find Your Medicare Enrollment Window

Enter your birth date and we'll map out your Initial Enrollment Period, the month to apply, and your likely coverage start date.

See If Your Doctor Is In-Network

Tell us the doctor or clinic you want to keep. We check it against the plans we can offer in your ZIP code and calls you back with the answer, usually the same day or the next business day. No instant results, no guesswork.

Tell us who to check

A licensed Cincinnati-area agent will call you back. You're not required to enroll in anything.

Price Check Your Prescriptions

The monthly premium hides the real number. We run your medications against the drug lists of the plans we represent in your area, factor in your pharmacy, and call you with the full annual cost, not just the headline price.

Plans we compare

Medicare coverage we compare across Greater Cincinnati

We're independent, not tied to one carrier. We lay out what we can offer, walk through the trade-offs in plain language, and let the numbers make the call.

Why local matters

What matters is who answers the phone in year three.

Cincinnati Senior Insurance is a small local agency. You won't get passed to a script reader sitting in another state.

Call our team: 513-286-5596
  • 01

You talk to the same team every year

No call center rotation. Cincinnati Senior Insurance handles your sign-up, and our team is who answers in January if a claim looks off.

  • 02

We check your doctors and your drugs first

Before we suggest a plan, we check your providers and run your prescription list against what we can offer. That step is where most Cincinnati retirees get burned.

  • 03

Nothing we do costs you a dollar

The carriers we represent pay us, not you, and your premium stays the same either way.

  • 04

    We show up locally

Home visits across Hamilton County, from Westwood to Mount Washington, plus phone and video if that works better for you.

Local vs. 1-800

Why call us instead of 1-800-MEDICARE?

Both are worth using, and they solve different problems. 1-800-MEDICARE and Medicare.gov can tell you about every plan sold in your area. We work with a smaller group of carriers, and we do the hands-on work of checking your doctors, medications and budget.

How it works

How a free Medicare review works in Cincinnati

  1. 1

    A short phone call

Call or fill out the short form. We ask about your doctors, your medications, your budget, and what bothered you about your last plan.

  2. 2

    A side-by-side comparison

We price the plans we can offer in your Cincinnati ZIP code and build a one-page sheet that's actually easy to read.

  3. 3

    Sign-up done with you

We fill out the application together, in person, by phone, or online. It usually takes under 30 minutes.

  4. 4

    A yearly checkup

Plans change every October. We re-run your numbers each fall and only move you if the math actually backs it up.

Medicare help throughout Cincinnati & Hamilton County

Medicare networks work locally. A plan that looks great somewhere else can fall apart in Cincinnati, OH if your cardiologist at The Christ Hospital or TriHealth Good Samaritan isn't contracted with it. We check the networks of the plans we represent against your own provider list before we recommend anything.

We meet clients from Hyde Park and Oakley to Blue Ash, Mason, West Chester, and Anderson Township, plus across the river in Covington and Newport, KY. Our office sits downtown near the Roebling Suspension Bridge, Fountain Square, and Smale Riverfront Park, and we work Medicare Annual Enrollment (Oct 15 to Dec 7) here every single year.

Questions

Medicare questions Cincinnati families ask us

When can I sign up for Medicare in Cincinnati, OH?
Your Initial Enrollment Period covers three months before your 65th birthday month through three months after. Annual Enrollment runs October 15 to December 7. If you move to Anderson Township, retire from Kroger, or lose employer coverage, a Special Enrollment Period usually opens up too.
Does it cost anything to work with your agency?
No. Cincinnati Senior Insurance gets paid by the carriers we represent, not by you. Your premium is identical whether you sign up with us or go straight to a carrier.
Medicare Advantage or a Medicare Supplement: which one fits me?
It comes down to your doctors, how much you travel, your prescriptions, and your budget. We price both options from the carriers we represent for your exact situation before pointing you either way.
Can you check whether my doctor takes the plan?
Yes. Before we suggest anything, we check your providers against the plans we can offer, including The Christ Hospital, TriHealth Good Samaritan, and independent Hamilton County clinics. We also run your medication list against each plan's drug formulary.
Do you meet in person?
We do home visits across Cincinnati, Blue Ash, Mason, Anderson Township, West Chester, and the surrounding towns. If a call is easier for you, we handle the whole thing by phone.
